New Features :

1. Find Friends
Facebook had added a new feature to its services called Find Friends Nearby which would let users on mobile and web connect with people who had opened the page and were close by. Creepiness of the feature aside, it seems for now Facebook has decided to pull the feature.

The feature was working on both Android and iOS apps. Users had to go to the app, click on menu and then the Find Friends tab. The Find Friends Nearby feature was accessible in that tab. Users on desktop/website had to go to URL www.facebook.com/ffn  to access the feature.

According to ABC, this is what Facebook had to say in a formal statement:

“This wasn’t a formal release – this was something that a few engineers were testing. With all tests, some get released as full products, others don’t. ”

2. Timeline
Facebook has just announced its latest feature for the battle against Google+: The Timeline profile, which lays out your updates, photos, and videos chronographically. Tell your life story through photos, friendships and personal milestones like graduating or traveling to new places.

The Timeline profile, which came into being after considerable influence of  the American Stalkers Association, shows you everything you've added in the past, year by year.
